If you want to believe everything a book written thousands of years ago said thats fine, but dont mock what everyone else thinks just because it isnt some age old mantra you've been repeating to yourself forever. @EvolutionNoEvidence How is it logical to assume that these things just magically appeared when some all powerful thing just thought 'hmm, bit bored today, maybe i'll create a universe or something'. Good science is constructing well informed theories and hyppotheses about these things and then looking for evidence to support them. and your analogy just proves you have no idea what your talking about with evolution.

@MrSarcasticFringe Circumcision is hardly mutilation. People attack people who disagree with them all the time; thats how fights generally start. The japanese performed kamikaze attacks during WW2. I admit religion has been used as an excuse to do terrible things by many throughout history, but generalising them all like that is no better than them generalising evolution by mocking the 'monkey-man' relationship. People without faith have done things just as terrible.

@typhoonhurricane18 I don't think you can absolve religions for acts committed in their name. After all, would a good person without faith consider it morally acceptable to mutilate a child's genitals at birth? Would a good person without faith believe that it's OK to physically attack a person who disagree with their position? Would a good person without faith agree that suicide bombing is a legitimate military tactic?
