When I made the video 4 years ago all I was doing was making someone else's video tutorial (that I struggled with) easier to understand. I didn't create the process.
As for the audio compression use Audacity and configure the settings you need before you export it. All you need to do is drag the video into Audacity and it will strip the audio and you can play with the settings. Don't shorten the audio file in any way or the video will be out of sync when you render it and the sound later.

how'd you get a 750 to 8mb? I have a 3gb file and its huge still. also i cant get those audio compression rates

@JadetteWoW I've never heard of that happening before. I think I would ignore that and give it a try anyway. I never use my source file to test things...always use a copy. Although, if you "save as" anything in Windows the source file remains intact.

i tried this.. but when i wanted to save it, it said allow compression only if you have registered camtasia studio ....

@Hi675445 Virtual Dub is a great editing tool and having the two screens really comes in handy. Or if you have to get right up to your monitor it can be one screen for each eye :-) |
